Considerable question here. This is the only available Abigail Forbush from Mass records, and the Reed Collection makes this claim. However the Forbush Genealogy (Pierce) makes note that this Abigail was unmarried at the time of her father's probate in 1780 (Is this probate record still available?), and Pierce makes no assignment of Abigail Forbush.. On the one hand Abigail goes to Daniel's Funeral with sister Dinah Bond, no mention of Samuel (Parkman Diary); but she is called "Abigail Forbush" there, not "Forbes" that Parkman probably would have used if she were not married..
Parkman diaries use Forbes, following name change by Jonaathan, but all of these are in MA vital records as Forbush
