Sept. 1635, ship "Defence" to Boston (with brother Robert 28). farmed for Nathaniel Saltenstall in Ipswitch 1648, name changed from "Colborn" in 1668 to "Colburn" in 1671. Purchased land north of Merrimac River (Webb farm). In command of Colburn' in Kings Philips War, attacked by Indians, 2/25/1676 (was a Daniel Rolfe, son of Robert, died Salem, 1654).
