Narrative
Came with parents on the "Hercules".
Stephen and a Joseph Tilden (likely his brother) petitioned the Plymouth court 7 June 1653 to lay out a way for them "unto the island commonly called Hatch's Island, and unto the island called Cooper's Island." He seems to have lived his entire life in Scituate and passed on at the very seasoned age of 81 years.
